Making every runa safer path toward a dream.
Baserunning education, sports science and touring instruction come together to support safer, more sustainable grassroots baseball in Taiwan.

The 22nd KEEP WALKING Dream Grant Program is built around the idea that dreams move farther with companionship and support. A dream is never a solo journey; it is a process of moving forward together.
Within that vision, BRPA chairman Hsu Feng-Pin proposed Passing the Pace Forward, a program that translates baserunning knowledge and carries professional learning across urban and rural communities.

01 / THE NEED
Seeing the safety gapfrom the field
Years on the field showed Hsu that baserunning is not only about speed and technique. It is inseparable from player safety and long-term development.
International training increasingly connects baserunning with sports science and risk management, while grassroots teams in Taiwan still have uneven access to knowledge and equipment that can prevent avoidable injury.
02 / KNOWLEDGE IN ACTION
Translating expertiseinto education children can use
The program centers on turning professional knowledge into learning that can be understood and practiced.
Through the 536 Locomotive Charity Program, touring instruction and patented sliding-mat equipment travel to school baseball programs across Taiwan, giving under-resourced teams access to systematic, safer baserunning and sliding training.
03 / SAFER GROWTH
Safety gives children roomto fall and rise again
This is more than the transfer of technique. In a safer environment, children can practice, fall, get back up and focus on growth.
When the foundation is secure, dreams can extend forward with stability. Baserunning education can improve performance while reducing risk and supporting longer playing careers.
04 / SUSTAINABLE STEPS
Turning companionship and actioninto sports sustainability
For Hsu, baseball has never been only about wins and losses. It is a path that accompanies children toward their own field of dreams.
KEEP WALKING continues to connect people and support action that responds to social needs. In sport, that companionship and practice are taking shape one step at a time.
When more people choose to walk together, a dream can travel farther—and stand more steadily.
